Education & Wellbeing

“Unlocking Potential, One Child at a Time”

At PMWDO, we believe education is the cornerstone of empowerment and social equity. For marginalized communities, especially girls and children with disabilities, access to learning opens doors to dignity, opportunity, and long-term resilience.

Through inclusive, community-centered education initiatives, we strive to make sure no child is left behind—regardless of their background or ability.

🌟 How We Empower Through Education

  • Inclusive Education Programs
We rehabilitate schools, provide disability-friendly infrastructure, and offer assistive learning materials like braille papers, slates, and white canes.

  • Emergency Education in Crisis
During droughts, displacement, and environmental shocks, we ensure learning continues through temporary learning spaces, feeding programs, and teacher incentives.

  • Girls’ Education and Menstrual Health
PMWDO distributes feminine hygiene kits, builds gender-friendly latrines, and conducts awareness to reduce stigma and absenteeism among adolescent girls.

  • Community Mobilization & Advocacy
We run radio/TV campaigns, public forums, and door-to-door outreach to increase enrollment and advocate for children with disabilities.

  • School WASH Integration
Clean water, handwashing stations, and safe toilets are key to keeping children—especially girls—in school. We integrate WASH into our education efforts.
